Leaving Kanro


Maybe this was taken towards the end of Setsubun, beginning or mid February, Setsubun marks the beginning of spring, traditionally this was the start of the new year which was divided into 24 solar terms, known as the 24 Sekki, Nijushi Sekki Risshun, currently we are just leaving the 17th, known as Kanro – 寒露 – cold dew, the next, beginning around October 23rd will be Sōkō, translated as ‘frost descent’.
